Kadynce's First Vacation

We took Kadynce on her first vacation in May. We went to Lake Powell on May 18-22 for our annual friends trip at the Miller's house boat. We look forward to this trip every year and we had such a great time. Kadynce was so good. We left for Lake Powell on the 18th after work. This was the perfect time for traveling with a 3 month old. We stopped in Spanish Fork to eat dinner and then we only stopped for gas the rest of the trip. Kadynce slept the entire ride and did not make a peep. For some reason, the last two years that we have gone to Lake Powell, the weather has not cooperated as we would have liked it to. On our was down, we were driving in snow and there were several slide offs on the road. The first two days of the trip were rainy and cold and then finally we got some nice, sunny weather on the Saturday before we left. However, the water was freezing. When I got in to ski, I didn't wear a wet suit and everytime I fell in the water, I pretty much was hyperventilating.
We had such a fun time playing with Kadynce and Tenley. We loved doing photoshoots with them and we got some really cute pictures. I am so lucky to have such great friends that invite us on fun vacations and I look forward to next year.

The boys think it is fun to find new locations for extreme kayaking. This was their attempt to do it all at the same time.

Tiffany took a bunch of pictures of Kadynce. They turned out so cute. I think I have the cutest and most photogenic baby. I am sure I am a little biased.
